On April 16, the alternative-rock and genre-bending trio Waterparks announced the release date of their highly anticipated sixth album, JINX. The album will be released this summer, on July 24, and its next single “PROWLER” will drop April 17.
Touring across the U.S. and Europe over the past few months entailed a whirlwind album wrap-up, but gave fans a chance to hear new tracks on live, including “ANY MINUTE NOW,” “IF LYRICS WERE CONFIDENTIAL,” “RED GUITAR” and the newest single “PROWLER,” all of which will be included on the new album.
Waterparks’ JINX comes after the band’s longest stint without a new album — their last record dropping in April of 2023 — but they making sure it was worth the wait. The new album features artists like Mark Hoppus, Danny Elfman, Foxy Shazam’s Eric Nally and Dillon Francis all on one song.
