BENEE strives to create a show built on the foundation of self expression, giving people a space to dress, dance, and overall, be however and whoever they’d like to be The “Particles Tour” is nothing short of a reflection of iconic New Zealand- born, now Los Angeles-based artist.

The stagename BENEE is held by Stella Rose Bennett, a pop artist who at her roots has constantly bent any mold she puts herself in, one release after another. She started a career in her late teenage years, posting songs online and gaining attention building up to the release of her first single, “Tough Guy.” She has gone on to make a name for herself in the pop world, especially in 2019 when her track “Supalonely” featuring Gus Dapperton took over the charts and became a song that found itself as a staple on TikTok during the COVID-19 pandemic. No one couldn’t scroll through the app without seeing someone dancing or using this song to promote their newest quarantine activity. This amount of exposure piqued many listeners’ interest, locking them into the world of BENEE.
BENEE’s newest record Ur an Angel I’m Just Particles released on Nov. 7, 2025. Crave Music Magazine had the pleasure of diving into the brand new album’s world during an °1824 press conference, where we learned about the artist’s musical process and how BENEE has never been afraid to experiment with her sound. She has taken the experiences that life has thrown her way and used all of it to create art that is authentic to her. When BENEE made the move from her homeland of New Zealand all the way to Los Angeles, she found heaps of inspiration. Her music is open to be enjoyed by anyone, but those who relate to her messages of hope in this chaotic and unfair world hit deeper to those looking for answers.

The Particles Tour is currently trekking across North America and Crave was lucky enough to capture the night at Philadelphia’s Brooklyn Bowl on March 16.
The night opened up without a hitch with the electric BAYLI as the opener. The Brooklyn-born-and-raised singer has been known previously for being in the band The Skins, which she led fiercely as frontwoman. Nowadays, she has taken her art on a solo journey, experimenting with her sound every chance she gets. She took the stage with a confidence that made any audience member know that they were in for a good show. Performing her bass heavy dance track, “Passenger Princess,” BAYLI had the crowd jumping. Throughout her set, she performed tracks off her debut album NO RE-ENTRY. Her style matches her sound to a tee, a little black dress that reads “live however you like, nobody cares a damn” in bold white letters. Anyone who hadn’t heard of BAYLI before the night began would be sure to have her songs bumping in their car on the way home.

BENEE took to the stage with a light and energy that can only be accompanied with pure joy. The set opened with “Sad Boiii,” a funky track from her most recent album that proves impossible to stand still during, even for the performers on stage. BENEE’s quirky personality and ability to connect with the crowd immediately made the show feel much more intimate. From quick jokes with her band and the audience between songs to giving out some of her hair clips to kids in the crowd, the energy in the room radiated joy. BENEE and her band played an array of songs from Ur an Angel I’m Just Particles such a “Cinnamon,” “Princess” and “Off The Rails.”
Tracks from her previous albums Hey u x (2020) and Lychee (2022) also got their time to shine. Songs like “Wishful Thinking” and, of course, “Supalonely” had the room buzzing; the crowd sang loudly all night long. In between the moments of upbeat dancing came time for the slower songs. In the room doused in blue, BENEE and her guitarist sat centerstage on stools, signaling a more acoustic experience. Songs like “Doesn’t Matter” and “Heaven” highlighted her incredible vocal range and control.
Eventually BENEE exited the stage, leaving her bandmates alone to perform the instrumental heavy track “Make You Sick.” The singer soon walked back on the stage sporting a wide smile as she performed “Glitter,” a track off her popular EP FIRE ON MARZZ (2019). The night flowed on with endless dancing, a true sense of enjoyment from the stage to the crowd.
Ending the night covered in green lighting could only mean her song “Green Honda” was about to start. The song was a perfect closer; the self-empowerment track had the entire room jumping in unison singing along, “And now I pull up in my green Honda / To tell you that I don’t want ya.”

BENEE’s hair flew in the wind as she left every last bit of herself on stage, providing a performance to remember for every member of the crowd.
