Up-and-coming artist MADiSON ViOLETT is taking the modern metal scene by storm with her brand new single, “BLEED FOR ME,” featuring Kellin Quinn of Sleeping With Sirens. Between her nostalgic early 2000’s post-hardcore vibe and Quinn’s signature vocals, this track will have you feeling like skipping out on prom night and running to tear up a house party.

At just 17 years old, ViOLETT re-emerged onto the scene after fronting an LA-based pop-punk group to continue her career as a solo act. The powerhouse performer now not only writes and releases her own music, but also hosts her own podcast called The Spiderweb and plays live shows all over Southern California. Now at 19, her latest project features vocalist Kellin Quinn from the widely recognized post-hardcore act, Sleeping with Sirens, where they come together to create an iconic power ballad that’s begging to be played at full volume.

“The way is dark but I know we’ll make it out of here / And I would give you the world / Light up the stratosphere”

Although the music itself is edgy, powerful and heavy, that doesn’t mean the lyrics aren’t heartfelt and a bit lovesick in conjunction. As the drums beat heavy and the guitars intensify, ViOLETT’s satin smooth vocals glide over top, crying out “Will you bleed for me, like I bleed for you” and “Take my heart by the hand, don’t ever let me go.” In the background, Quinn’s aggressive style and unique tone shine through, bridging the gap between hard-hitting and raw emotion.

Accompanying the single, a music video directed and edited by LA videographer Christopher Shaibi is now available on YouTube, featuring ViOLETT’s live band (Cooper Fink, Israel Hernandez and Alex Hartman). The video, inspired by My Chemical Romance’s “I’m Not Okay,” works in perfect harmony with the song, encapsulating the nostalgia of the early 2000’s while still being relatable and relevant in modern context. From the first clip of the band stuck in detention, all the way until they decide to blow off prom in favor of a house party, every scene is rife with energy and expertly compiled to breathe even more life into the track.

This is certainly just the beginning of MADiSON ViOLETT’s career, and based on what she’s accomplished so far at such a young age, she is certainly an artist to keep an eye on — and we can’t wait to see what she has in store for future projects.
